Hiiii

My question is!
Will iClone have a much tighter integration with Autodesk Maya and Arnold in the future??

Because now I have to be converting ----all---- the shader to ai (Arnold) shaders.

Cheers

I cannot officially speak for Reallusion, since I'm a user like you, but I don't think that Reallusion has the time and interest to do this. It looks more like the industry is moving to cross compatible file formats like USD. So in that case, it's the responsibility of Autodesk to write an importer that automatically converts the shaders.

I Just started using Maya and yes the Arnold material system is a “challenge” .
However I would not expect Autodesk to be bothered with providing a solution for converting CC4 textures to Arnold either as they are not the party claiming import compatibility with Iclone/CC4, it is Reallusion who is claiming & advertising export compatibility with the major 3DCC’s and game engines with their export presets.
Also USD to Maya is not a good solution if you want to have fully editable animation rigs in Maya as we have with FBX import

Because at the moment iclone's compatibility with Cinema 4D and Redshift is súper.
You just have to conect the transparency to the opacity and you're all done. Just render.
One iclone character only recquires one minute of work un C4D, SO a scene with 10 characters would only need around ten minutes of your time for 'adapting' your iclone characters to C4D and render in Redshift,,, which is pretty and fast.

In Maya tales around 2 hours or maybe more,,,  beautiful result buuuutttt time consuming.

That vídeo is all cc4 characters, animated in iclone and rendered in maya-arnold, Cinema 4D-Redshift and Houdini -Redshift

The video  at your posted link has no sound
it is also very low resolution ( 480P)
You should take the time to really learn those render engines because your video does not showcase their capabilities at all.
