Hair from Blender to cc4 Process

I am struggling with this, immensely.  I went and made some janky hair in cc4 using the hair geometry nodes system but for the life of me I can not import hair made from scratch to cc4 without a invalid data error.  What is the current process?
A lot of things I am seeing are from two years ago  with blender plugins.  I'm really hoping to not have to pay for another blender plugin.

The greater the number of polygons in the model, the higher the reproducibility.

Whenever you export something from Blender, make sure no particle, nor curve objects are exported. CC would error out when importing such FBX files
Export only mesh (you may use selected objects check box in FBX export).

Also if exporting hair with character make sure it properly rigged to the head.
Otherwise, export hair only and fit it in CC.
