I have created several characters in Daz, sculpted them in Zbrush and wrapped Texturing XYZ 8K displacement maps to the heads. I texture and render everything in C4D. I'm thinking about picking up CC4/iC8 for animation purposes as it seems to excel w that and has a good pipeline with UE4.

I'm using the trial version of CC4 and see that there's a pretty good Daz>CC4 import using Transformer. My issue is that it converts the character to the CC4 UVs and I need my displacement maps from zbrush that use the Daz UVs. Is there a way to just transfer textures, especially 32bit 8K EXRs without having to go through the wrapping process again? I saw that SkinGen has a texture transfer tool, but I can't see if there's EXR support.

If I have to re-wrap to the CC4 model, Is there a Daz A Pose preset?

The other option would be if it's possible to import a Daz character and preserve the UVs and just use the CC4 rig. Is there a way to do that?

Thank you!!

You can import your Daz character as a Humanoid (Non-Standard) character which will retain the original Daz textures and mesh. Humanoid characters can still use standard motion clips but you can't switch out clothing or use features like SkinGen with them.

For more on Humanoid characters, please see the  tutorials below.
