Hi there,

I just installed CA5.2 and was able to install it with no issues.  I was able to install only 1 of the free Demo projects when double clicking on the black and white image.  I'm trying to download a few others so I can follow the tutorials but when I double click on the pack, it starts to download and then stops and looks to have failed.  I can't see it being my antivirus since it allowed the other content to download, anyone else have this issue and have a work around or fix?

Hi…

Depending on the speed of your internet connection it can take a little while to download some content resources. However, if the content does not fully download after a few minutes then I would advise contacting Support using the link below. They will be able to check what the problem is and help you resolve it.

Hi
I sent in a Support Ticket for some help but while waiting for a response I decided to try actually using my VPN while using CA and then try to download from the Content Manager.  It actually worked!?  Would've never guessed it would work on VPN and not when its off.  Seems like my ISP is stopping the download but running VPN fixes it.

It’s very unusual that you need to use a VPN to access Content Manager but at least it is working for you now which is the main thing.

Thanks for letting us know.

I have the same issue. I can install content from the marketplace but not from Reallusion's content store, including "puppet & path".  My antivirus settings allow Reallusion access so I don't think that's an issue.  I'm not using a vpn so I can't apply that remedy.  Any suggestions?
