Hello everyone,
I'm trying to install plugins in iClone v8.31 OpenPlugin folder but i've some troubles....

I've tried with the Omniverse Audio2Face plugin and with the plugins listed on the GitHub page https://github.com/reallusion/iClone by reallusion/iClone but I haven't had success with any of them.

I've copied the files and restarted iClone, but I don't see them appearing in the Plugins menu.

When I open the log console window, there are several Python errors:

C:/Program Files/Reallusion/iClone 8/Bin64/OpenPlugin/AudioDriven/main.py:306: SyntaxWarning: "is" with a literal. Did you mean "=="?
if len(clones) is 0:

What am I doing wrong? Are the open api compatible with version 8.31?

Your every suggestion will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance  :)

Hi there :)

They are working fine for me with 8.31 - this is very odd :)

The only thing I would suggest is that you remove Audio2Face and anything else you’ve manually added to the OpenPlugjns folder, then make a screen recording as you do the following:

- show your open plug-ins folder in windows explorer, so we can see what’s in it
- open iClone and show the console log (without any extra plug-ins loaded via Python api)
- go to about iClone so we can see the exact version number
- quit iClone and add only Audio2Face to that folder
- restart iClone and show the console log window showing the errors
- upload the screen recording to YouTube and share link here

I find that visual representations like that can really help us figure things out! :)

Toby

Hi...

The plug-ins found on the Github pages are up to 5 years old so not compatible with iClone 8.

Please try the Plug-ins found on the pages below but make sure they mention iClone 8 compatibility before downloading. These should work fine as Toby already mentioned.

https://marketplace.reallusion.com/iclone/plug-in
