I created a custom character and placed each part according to the Photoshop file. He works great, moves with the preinstalled animation. I do have a few issues. One, his hair is long (on the layer Backhair) and it sits behind his face but covers his chest. (its not behind the hip graphic) Second  when I animate a character  (front only) the arms,  instead of going in front of the character it goes behind the characters head but in front of the hair. It seems that the template PSD that I downloaded from reallusion does not have the correct layers in the proper order. Only thing I did was place the corresponded body part where it suppose to go in its proper layer.

UPDATE: So I decided to load Philipp_F_Finish.psd and place the F_chicken dance F_go_go Dance and F_Disco dance and sure enough his arms go behind his head and not in front. Is their a way to edit the photshop file to set up the layers correctly or is their a setting in CA5 that allows layer position to be edited. Another words that you can have the arms behind the head and keyframe them to be in front of the head?

Hey there. In Composer Mode you can actually drag the back hair layer (or any layer) out of the face folder and sit it behind the torso so it will layer correctly. Just make sure you have set up your 360 Head before doing this.

Also, if ever you have CTA questions, consider also posting them on the Cartoon Animator Users Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/CartoonAnimatorUsers where you will find over 4,000 talented CTA users ready to answer your questions. Best of luck!
