Can the automatic timeline jump upon clicking be disabled? When manually animating and identifying a section on the timeline for key copying and pasting, is it feasible to have the choice to copy the key without the timeline cursor shifting to the selected key? This behavior currently disrupts my workflow by causing me to lose track of my position on the timeline.

In the Preference settings, under Timeline, uncheck "Auto-align playhead". That seems to do what you want.
