I hate to be that guy to just join and ask a question straight away, but does anyone know how I should i make a facial rig compatible for import into iClone so that I can animate it using Livelink facial mocap?

I rigged the face in blender using rigify, and exported as an FBX, but when i import into character creator or directly into iClone, my FBX isnt detected as a character in the scene by livelink - so i cant select it.

Attached is the rigged FBX.
Thanks

I'm not an export (we'll wait for those), but I assume that LifeLink only works with CC characters for a reason.

To make it universal would be a lot of work. Just keeping up with the latest Unreal version is hard enough.

I see no reason why it can't be reverse engineered though

If I provide a model with bones and/or blendshapes, there should be a way to animate the face with iPhone capture? surely.

You mention the iPhone. Do you mean Live Face rather than Live Link?
