EDIT : I might have found a solution to this problem. When saving my Zbrush file after relinking the meshes, it was saved in a specific GoZProjects folder. I checked that folder and there were more than 400 files from previous attempts. Most of them had the name of my subtools.
I deleted everything and started the whole process from the beginning, and this time it worked. I think that GoZ doesn't overwrite old files correctly or it detects that files with the same name already exist and tries to use them, but because they are "corrupted" from failed attempts, it results in the meshes not being posed in Zbrush.

Hello there, I'm new here.
I've been trying to send a pose from CC4 to Zbrush for 2 days now, and I can't get it to work. The first day I was on the trial version of CC4, and then I purchased it, hoping it would solve the problem, but nope.
I followed these tutorials ( pretty much both the same ) :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=um-Q_HaGJPs&lc=UgxdjAv5k3pnoFbsrvJ4AaABAg.9sBwZFevxlj9sGG4OjVgkB and
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=liqM9NZyv7E&t=1729sTLDR : when I pose the character and send the pose to Zbrush, the plugin creates a pose button in the the menu, it also creates the layers, but the subtools don't move.
Now a bit more details :
- I tried to send the character with and without clothes, just in case it was a polycount or a subtool limit problem, it didn't change a thing
- I tried with and without rescaling the model with the plugin, no luck
- I tried using the poses from CC4 or making my own in edit mode, didn't work
- I tried deleting all the unused hidden subtools ( I generally keep some duplicates )
- I took all the subtools out of their folder ( CC4 seems to have a hard time processing the subtools when they are inside folders )
- sending the A-pose and T-pose to Zbrush doesn't work
- trying to re-link the meshes after reloading a save doesn't work, instead the plugin creates duplicates of each subtool, with no polypaint and no subdivisions ( even if the popup is set to RELINK instead of CREATE )
The one thing that worked was this : I sent the subtools to T-pose master to combine them all in one piece, sent that to CC4, posed the model, sent the pose to T-pose master, and then applied it to the subtools, and it worked. Ultimately if nothing else works I'll use that method, but it's a bit annoying, especially to place the guides and bones without being able to hide the clothes and hair.
According to some comments under the tutorial I'm not the only one with this problem. There seem to be one crucial info missing from these videos that might cause the issue. Or it's a bug. I'll try reinstalling everything and see.
