Yeah, might be a dumb question, as I know I've done it before, but right now I can't figure out how to download my own content that I uploaded to the Marketplace.

What I'm trying to do is get my old content (that I created and uploaded years ago) back down into iClone v8 (specifically this version.)  (It's not essential as I still have them all stored away, but it's frustrating me that I can't seem to work out how to do it should something happen and I lose it.  Yeah, I'm crazy, I know.  Think of it as an experiment in theoretical problem solving...)

If I select my products in the Marketplace, and add them to my Cart, when I go to check out it says I already own them and to download them again through the Inventory List.  But, the problem here is they don't show up in the list (I can see 11 items of mine that I probably "purchased" from myself years back, but nothing else - and I have LOTS of stuff uploaded.)

The alternative approach was to download the items through the "Manage Backend" option, where I can indeed select all the items/packs from years past and download them (from the Edit Asset page.)  BUT, it uses the old Install method and doesn't load to iClone v8 (only earlier versions.)

Anybody know how to get around this?  Is it just me, or is this a bug that I need to report to Reallusion?

Go to your marketplace backend Ui - select the link "edit content pack" or "edit content item" -   once you are at the list,  in the right-hand corner you'll see an option to download the checked items. I hope this helps.

IC 8 and CC4 use a new Content (formerly known as Smart Gallery) approach which works only with packs created within the Packager.
So the older content you download from Backend would only go into IC7/CC3 location.
You may then manually copy it into the Custom section of IC8/CC4.

But nothing would ever go into IC8/CC4 Template section unless it was actually purchased from Marketplace (but not by you as a developer).
Even Verify routine for new packs system inside Packager, which downloads content of your own packs is not shown in Template section - only on Verify tab in Packager.

Thanks, but I tried that and it doesn't work for iClone v8 stuff.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of.  I consider this a bug, or at best, an oversight on their part.  I think I will raise a support ticket and ask them to address the "gap" in a future update of the website/system.
