Why can I not change the default setting in the content manager? All I just took out into my D drive gets right back into the Default directory. I do not want any of that in my C drive, I just moved 292 GB of IClone Assets into my D and G drive. If you want to sync it, CM brings it right back into default. So why can I not set the Default into D or G? Why does it have to be C?

Hi...

You can manage where your default content is stored by clicking Settings in Content Manager. Detailed instructions for doing this can be found HERE.

Not working. I can not set the default Assets folder to D:  The Program refuses it, always brings it all back to C drive and crashes my System ( over 300 GB in Assets since IClone 2) If I just link it to the Content Manager. Whatever I import over that MANAGER, IT ALL ENDS UP AGAIN ON C: DRIVE again regardless of what I do or set up in the Manager. It is a mess working this way. My Assets are on External Drives with lots of space, but the stupid Manager DOES NOT LET ME CHANGE  the Default Assets folder and copies all and everything into these folders on C. I have to remove all everything by hand to make my system work again, If I want to work with IClone or Character Creator Or Cartoon Animator the Content Manager starts again filling up my C: drive. Why is it impossible to change that Drive letter to work?  This is Crap!  Since I purchased the new version, I could not finish any project and had no more fun working with either of the new versions. The detailed Information is just the same BS I tried 1000 times before and still does not provide ANY solution. I hate it if I can not control what a program does to my computer without my knowledge or permission.

The process is working fine for me when I tested so there seems something else going on.

Are you logged into your computer with an Administrator account. If not that may be why you are not able to switch drives.

I would advise following the tutorial HERE first, but if the problem continues, I would advise contacting Support using the link below. They will be able to advise you further.
