I bought Designer for this software as I don't want to pay stupid amounts of money each month on a subscription to Adobe............. We will certainly look at adding further software over time, but for the immediate future only Adobe Illustrator will support the full "round trip" workflow. Affinity Designer can still be used for creating SVG content and sprite replacement. However, the full SVG round trip is only currently available for Illustrator. What's the difference? Thanks, Jeff The 5.0 release didn't include SVG Export (Only PSD Export was available). The 5.1 update now allows SVG Export and Import with linked content to Illustrator.
