When adding wav file for script the file stops after a few seconds and no more voices in Cartoon Animator 5.  I need the script running to fine tune motions and expressions of my characters.  when I added a saved character motion, I go back and it cuts off right there.  Is there something I am missing?

Hi...

Check you have set the project length to the desired time. By default the project length will only be 1 minute but you can adjust this up to 15 minutes (27000 frames) by going to Project Settings (CTRL+SHIFT+P).

Note: When changing the project length you will also need to adjust the project Mark In/Out (Start/End)  markers on the Play Bar. These are shown as number 2 HERE.

Project lengths are fine….I found that if I delete and reload after using motions from file the script will operate as desired. It has something to do with when you add a preset motion into your timeline. No idea what it is, but I can duplicate it over and over and again.

Thanks for explaining more.

If you can duplicate the problem, please can you provide the steps you take (in as much detail as possible) so we can try and reproduce the problem ourselves. Thanks.

Certainly, I will gladly provide a review firsthand via zoom if you want? Otherwise, I will need to document it tomorrow

I have created four pics to illustrate what I was trying to accomplish.  Step 1 - Everything is working fine  Step 2 - Where I am selecting previously saved character actions, in this case I want him to get down on all fours to look under table.  Step 3 - Shows the script cutting off exactly at the point where the custom action is inserted. Noted that this step cuts into and overwrites a segment of existing motions. Step 4 - Shows where I broke the one motion and deleted several poses to make room for the custom motion, same result.  I hope this helps in your efforts to uncover the reason for this.

IMPORTANT: This may very well be something I did, as it only happens when I used the two actions to go down or go up.  Does not do this for the other two custom actions; Fred Standing, or Looking around

Finished Product was just posted on my you tube channel: https://youtu.be/TtwsjWKPx3I this is my first animation using CTA and found it nice and logical.  tutorials help out tremendously
