Hello all, I am hoping someone can help me figure this out or provide a workaround/fix.

I have CTA 5 set up to use Affinity Designer 1.10 to open and edit .svg files. After successfully opening/creating and importing a new .svg to the stage, I can see my character just fine, and as long as I stay in this mode, file sync works perfectly. Although with AD I do have to export the SVG each time a change is made instead of a simple save, but that is a minor issue and on any change and export, the character updates with the changes as expected within CTA 5.

The issue shows itself once I want to go into composer mode. As soon as I select to go into composer mode I am greeted with the following message: "Synced SVG/PSD editing will lose connection. Do you wish to continue?"

If I select ok and proceed, I now no longer can make synced updates. If I make any new changes to the SVG, it will pop up the PSD/SVG Create Options box, asking me to choose an import option and attempt to import the same SVG again as a new character. This behavior would indicate there indeed still is a sync of some type as CTA 5 still registers a change made to the file, but it no longer applies the change to the existing character. This is very problematic and I assume this isn't the intended functionality.

When reading the documentation and seeing the feature demonstrated this was not the behavior either... so I am wondering what is causing this behavior. Any help, hints, or tricks would be greatly appreciated.
