Hi.
I am experimenting with building characters of color in Cartoon Animator 5. So far, it's going well, but I notice that when I right-click and choose an animation from the action menu, while the animation is running, the hands of my character turn from the skin tone I designated back to the original default hands of the "Johnny 3" actor template. Everything else stays the same skin tone-wise, but the hands always change back to white. Can someone please help me? I think I may be missing something regarding telling the animation to keep the same skin tones I designated instead of the default template colors. Thank you.

Hi...

The issue you are seeing is because the hands are made up of many sprites which have to be updated to the new color setting the first time a new motion is applied.

However, you should find that once you play the project through, all the different hand sprites will be updated to the new color you have set (you can also scrub the playbar to get the hand sprites to update).

So once you have applied the motion you want to your character, just play it once or twice and everything should be fine afterwards.
