Hi,
I am trying to bring a highly optimised character into Unity.  The character needs to have animation, and facial animation/lip-sync.

How can I use the export with merged materials (to reduce draw calls) and then bring this into iClone for animation, including acculips and facial animation?

At the moment it seems the only way to send the character to iClone is the through the "send to iClone" export function, but this doesn't give options to merge the materials.

If I merge materials and export as an fbx and bring the character into Unity, and then separately do some animation in iClone and bring this into Unity, the animation gets screwed up and does not play on the optimised CC character.

I have tried "convert to game base" but this also seems to break most of the facial morphs. Also this doesn't actually seem to merge the materials anyway, so I'm not quite sure what the purpose of this function is other than slightly reducing the poly count

Many Thanks
