Hello everyone,I like the Buddys and also got the G2 Power Tools Vol. 4., it contains the buddy templates, which can be used to create your own designs for the buddies. So that I can edit it, I bought a version of Adobe Flash CS4 Professional from eBay and installed it on an old Windows 7 computer. However, when I try to open the templates that have a *.fla file extension, I get the message "Unexpected file format". Then I also installed a trial version of Flash MX 2004, the same message. What am I doing wrong?

Hi... The templates were created using Adobe Flash CS6 which is likely the reason they won't open in older versions. Sadly Adobe Flash has been discontinued for a long time so there is no longer support or updates for these templates.

If you can find Serif Drawplus x8 V14.0.0.19 that can be used to export swf files for CTA/CA import. Be aware that only versions thru V14.0.0.19 will work and the last DP update, V14.0.1.21, broke the SWF export for CTA/CA. I believe there was a Buddy's World template that could be read via DP but I've attached the one (.dpa) I've used. Jeff
Get my Plugin Manager and TaskNotes plugins for iClone. Check out EZColors and Other products for CTA/CA. EZColors: the easy way to change Render Styled (RS) colors! See my CTA Tutorials on the YouTube channel CTAStepByStep

Thank you very much. I bought the software on eBay and can now open the file. Now, of course, I still have to familiarize myself with the handling...
