Hi everyone.

I seem to have an issue with AccuRIG. I am using a character created in Mixamo Fuse, and whenever I try and bind the weight to the model, it gets stuck at 18%. The skeleton generates fine, but when it comes to the "Bind Skin" process, it just gets stuck at 18% and ends up not responding. I do not know if specs would help, but I am currently using a GTX 1070 8GB graphics card with 24GB of RAM and have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.60GHz processor.

I hope someone can guide me with this. :)

I am unsure how this ended up in the iClone 8 forum. I am sure I did post this under Character Creator 4, but nevertheless, hope someone can assist. :)

Hi...

It's been a long time since I used Fuse but aren't the characters already rigged?. If so you can just import them straight in as a Humanoid (Non-Standard) character without using AccuRig.

To do this just choose "Create Character" from the Modify Panel in CC4 and choose your character FBX. Then select Humanoid (Non-Standard) and you will then be presented with a selection of character type pre-sets to choose from. Just choose the corresponding pre-set for the character you are importing.

For further help, please see the tutorials below which take you though the steps of importing rigged characters.

Hi Peter.

Thank you for your reply. I did open a support ticket regarding this, and the problem seems to be model-related. Unfortunately, when using Mixamo Fuse from Steam, there are no auto-rigging capabilities. So my goal was to create the character in Mixamo Fuse and then just rig it with AccuRIG instead of using the Mixamo website to do the rigging. :)

I remade my character in Fuse again, and it just happened to work after that.

I did forward the very first mesh used that is causing the issue to Rampa for further investigation.
