Hi, I followed the tutorial to transfer the character and its motion from IC8 to UE 5.0.3. As long as the link is active the motion in IC8 can be seen in UE but once I deactivate the link and try to apply the motion to the character, then the animation does not work. If I double-click on the animation file, then I cannot see the animation as preview. Does this mean that something was not transferred properly from IC8 to UE? Attached is the screenshot that I see if I try to view the transferred motion. 75% of original size (was 675x19) - Click to enlarge

Try using the take recorder instead of transfer motion, and in this screen go to the top left and select your preview mesh as your character. Also, create a sequence, drag and drop your character and add an animation in the sequencer to see if the animation is there.

Thanks I tried applying motion and it was not working. I will test with Recorder and see how that works in my setup.

Yeah surely something went wrong. Not sure what happened as it works fine on my side... It looks like you used a CC character, so no reason for anomalies.
