Good evening, my name is David.
I have bought some Motions in ActorCore to be able to export them to C4D. It only exports 2 folders, the "Actor" folder contains an FBX with bones in T-Pose without animation and skin; the "Motion" folder contains another fully animated FBX but without the skin. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, I thought it would be like in MIXAMO where the FBX file contains the animation together with the skin.
Nowhere on the page was it mentioned that you need to buy another RealIllution product to complement the C4D export, ActorCore allows you to export for R18 and R19 but I can't figure out how to work with it in C4D.
What do you recommend I can do?
I've read almost all afternoon looking for a similar problem in the forums of this community and I can't find answers.
Where can I learn the correct pipeline to successfully export the FBX to C4D.
My native language is not English, but I hope I can explain the problem.
Thank you very much to everyone who can take the time to help me and I hope this helps many other people.

Good afternoon.

Let them know that I found a temporary solution. It requires the use of Blender and the Blender AutoSetup (cc3_blender_tools) which can be obtained from the ActorCore page.
It was simply importing the animation into Blender, connecting to the character and exporting the project to ALEMBIC (.abc).
This was the only way I found to get the character animated in C4D.

Anyway, if there is still a workflow to work directly in C4D without the use of Blender or other third-party programs, I'd like to know about it.
I appreciate the space in the forum and I hope that my solution can help others.

I'm not familiar with C4D, but the usual way to do this would be to have your non-animated character in the scene and then apply the motions by importing the FBX. I assume you tried that and it didn't work?

Is it a character created in C4D that you are using?

You can retarget it in C4D :

Retarget Animations : (skip to 5min)

Good afternoon dear colleagues.

Many apologies for the delay in my response.
I have been busy with the work that I told you about since they moved the deadline to a week before.

I have been delighted with the answer you provided and it has helped me a lot although I must say that it was exhausting to recalibrate each animation and it was more practical to solve it in Blender. I was able to better understand the matter in C4D, thank you very much for the contribution.

Now I have a solution that I was able to find just yesterday and I am very happy to share with you and whoever is looking for a pipeline to work with ActorRig and C4D, but there are certain considerations to take into account:
- You need to use C4D R23 or higher, mine was R19 and I had to upgrade.
- The reference video that I leave below uses R19 but uses Mixamo, in the case of ActorRig I did not have results until I updated the software.

Again thank you all very much for your answers, I hope this can help many.
My best wishes to all, see you.
