Hey all,
Just wanted to check on something. So currently I have a custom hair style in CC4 that was made in Blender, imported in as an FBX, edited and then turned into a Hair Style within CC4 so that it morphs and blends with the rig.
However in trying to create LOD versions of the hair i've ran into a few problems. I currently have 1 hair object on the character which has 3 LOD meshes attached to it, one at 100% and one brought down to 50% & finally. I've exported the FBX into unity and it's only brough in the original mesh with no LOD versions attached.
I don't want to LOD the whole character, just the hair as its the only important part. I thought maybe duplicating the hair and just having 3 at separate poly counts would work but am I correct in assuming that a character can only have 1 hair style attached to it at once?
Is there any way to export the character as an FBX and have the LOD meshes appear in unity as well? I ran the LOD gizmo myself in CC and then just exported normally, not using the LOD export option and it resulted in just the original mesh being exported.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!Cheers!
