When trying to export character from cc4 to blender using FBX clothed character, the target tool preset for blender does not work. It is stuck on Maya.

The Target Tool Preset on the FBX Export Panel is a drop down that defaults to Maya. Are you saying if you click in the box the other drop-down options do not appear?

If so that's an odd one as its working fine for me and we don't have any other reports of issues with the dropdown options.

Occasionally you can get glitches when the software has been open for a long tong time so you might simply need to close down CC4 and then restart your computer to resolve the problem.

Peter yes, the FBX panel Target Tool Preset and FBX Options are stuck on Maya and Mesh and Motion but others like Prefix/Suffix scroll open but unable to change data like Max Texture Size and image format. I have tried shutting down and restarting as well as reinstalling CC4 but no difference.

We have a new update coming any day now so you might like to see if that resolves the problem for you. Unfortunately, if it doesn't (or you don't want to wait) then you may need to uninstall CC4 and do a clean install of the latest full version. This should resolve the issue because as I mentioned previously it isn't a general bug that is affecting a large number of users.

I have used export clothed character many times in the past without an issue. The last time used was Aug 03 2022 so it must have been an update since then. I will probably wait for the next update but in case I want to do a clean install, is there a registry cleaner for cc4?

The latest update was version 4.1, but as I mentioned previously it is working fine for me so it's not a general bug affecting everyone. It may of course be an update issue that caused the error for you sadly if it was working fine before the 4.1 update. The next minor update arrives (next week all being well.

However, if you do wish to try uninstalling CC4, you shouldn't need a registry cleaner as just reinstalling using the Hub should fix the issue. Of course, if the issue does remain you can contact Technical Support who can supply a CC4 registry cleaner and can offer further assistance if needed.

Just to let people know, my windows settings had display scaling set to 150% and backing it down to 125% fixed the issue.

Wow - how did you happen to figure that out? Same for me, I am on a laptop with an extra monitor. Laptop was set to 150%. Fixed the drop down menu issue ( stuck on maya).
