I am sad that Cartoon Animator 5 is not releasing basic features that are found in other programs (Adobe Character Animator). Hopefully within the next few years, the UI will improve so people can have faster workflows. These are the features I wanted that didn't make it:

• The ability to have multiple projects open at once. I don't understand why this isn't a feature.
• Custom workspaces because I want to be able to switch the window orientation based on the task I am working on. This is basic. I wonder why this was not included.
• Another feature I am disappointed it didn't arrive was a history panel. Not having this feature is disappointing. If I want to undo 5 steps back, I must click on undo 5 times instead of a single click on a history panel. It is also hard to determine what I want to undo.
• A proper home screen that lets you select a file you were working on, shows you all the files you have created, lets you create a new file from a project, or shows you the latest news.
