Greetings, Been using Crazy Talk 8 for a while now to animate cartoon graphics and apply voices file. I have just learned that CT8 is now at EOL and while my version is still functional I am wondering where I go from here to maintain the same functionality is a supported platform. I want to be able to take an image, photograph or cartoon and import it, create a character and have it speak. Does Cartoon Animator 4 do this? Is there another product available that would allow me to do this?

Hi... It really depends on the type of characters you have been creating in CrazyTalk 8. If you primarily work with 2D Heads, then Cartoon Animator 4 can create these the same as CrazyTalk. It also has additional features like being able to add props and other scenery and have more than one character per project. Of course, having more features means that the learning curve is a little steeper, but it is certainly worth it if you want to create more advanced projects and animations. https://www.reallusion.com/cartoon-animator/default.htmlHowever, if you primarily work with 3D Heads in CrazyTalk, then Cartoon Animator 4 won't be the right choice. For talking 3D Heads, you will be better going for iClone 8 + Character Creator 4 + Headshot. This is a more expensive package than CrazyTalk or Cartoon Animator, but the results you can get are much improved over what could be achieved with CrazyTalk 8. I hope this helps a little. https://www.reallusion.com/iclone/default.htmlhttps://www.reallusion.com/character-creator/https://www.reallusion.com/character-creator/headshot/
