If you are like me and have a pre 2010 (mine is a 2007 dell tower) then you will not be able to run auto mode. 
Its not a bug but a feature that automode needs to do its magic. Wink
I will be upgrading my hardware soon. Its old and its about time. 
If you are not sure if yours is too old then you will know right away when you attempt to click on auto mode and you get a pop up telling you.
Your CPU must have the AVX instruction set to make use of auto mode. 
Glad the folks that made this awesome plugin thought to let you know with a friendly dialog rather than a crash.
