Make it sense to use CC4 for Development? If I prepare my Content on CC4 is it compatible in iClone 7? If not, I think I will use CC3 and xchange furthermore., then this is useful for both systems 7+8, right? I can not believe that all User switch to iClone8 with this expensive Price tag and therefore want still use iClone 7.
I think with CC3 and xchange I have more compatibility or ?

“Development” of what? games ? animated films? There are alot of variables that will determine if upgrading to IC/CC4 8 is the best choice for each person.

it's pretty straightforward: -If you want backwards compatibility with CC3/iC7, you have to use CC3/iC7 for development. But I know what you mean, there's not much difference, so why restrict it to CC4 alone when CC3 to CC4 is pretty easy yet
However, as a buyer, just because I know CC is finicky, if I could buy a compatible character for CC3-iC7 vs a newer one for only CC4-iC8, I would want the newer one developed in CC4 having the extended 140 face profile already set up.

I agree with Tony. CC3 content can be used without issues in both CC4 and iClone 8 at the moment and widens the customer base to include all those still using CC3 and iClone 7. Updating the characters from CC3 to CC4 isn't really Rocket science for the average user.
