1) Import cc3 avatar created with c3 into cc4 2) export and reduce using instalLOD remesher 1024 normal and then save it to file. 3) Import aviator into ic8 4) save my project. 5) Attempt to reopen and get "failed to load project" message. I did this with a couple of different c3 avatars with the same results. I did the same thing with the default cc4 Camila avatar and there was no problem. Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know why this happened? Thanks!

Wow, just saw your post, man. I have had had this problem and just today discovered that the issue seems to be related to the InstaLOD remesher  in CC4. I can verify that my results are very much like yours.

Exactly the same issue.

1. Created CC3 characters in past.
2. Imported them into CC4, and used LOD to create 'LOWEST' for mat characters for two large set projects.
3. Did about 10 hours of work, with saving one current and a backup file of the same project.
4. Saved the files and was about to call it a day at 2.30 am and clicked Exit on iC8. Then, decided to just open a project again and got the error:
FAILED TO OPEN FILE
5. Lost a lot of work due to this error

Really need a fix to this asap.
