I am new at this so bare with me. All i want to do is animate a png file that is in alpha already. I have done some noodling and have worked with the 2d key editor after throwing some random bones in my character but my end product is distorted and not very good. I guess what I need to do is create a G2 character from my photo. Anyone can point me in the right direction?? Thanks in advance

You haven't mentioned which version of Cartoon Animator 4 you have but if you have the Pro version then check out the tutorial below which explains the process of creating G3 characters.

However, if you have Cartoon Animator 4 Pipeline you also have the option to create characters using PSD import from Photoshop or other compatible PSD editors. In this case check out the simple tutorial below which will help you get started with using the PSD Templates (available from your Reallusion Account > Registration page).

Thank you for responding to my question. I am having difficulty adding multiple layers of keyframes in the 2D keyframe editor...is there a step by step tutorial for that?
