Character Creator- More options to customize characters in multiple design styles
- Easy to import and export characters using a variety of applications with good licensing
- You can buy more sliders and character body shapes but that is expensive
- Assets are expensive. A pack of decent clothing is $99+.
- You can easily change colors and textures of clothing
- There isn't a good variety of free clothing. To get a good library of clothing, it cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Also, there isn't a good variety of clothing for various age groups.
- The Smart hair builder system is cool but there aren't enough hairstyles for ethic hair.
- Hair is expensive. It costs $110 for a pack of 5 hairstyles.
- Prices for assets are always increasing even if they are years old.
- Exceedingly difficult to use and has a large learning curve
The Sims 4- It is difficult to import and export characters using different applications and the licensing restricts the usage of the characters
- Changing the clothing and textures of clothing is difficult
- Assets are cheap. The game comes with plenty of free clothing and hair. Also, you can buy additional asset packs for between $4.99 and $39.99 a pack.
- The assets are tied to the game.
- Prices for assets remain steady.
- The stylized hair is better than anything you will find on the Reallusion website.\
- Easy to use for a beginner
