Check for CTA updates without HUB

For some reason, HUB is being problematic on my Mac. Tech Support suggested I uninstall it and just install CTA directly. Which I did.
Now when I click Help > Check for updates in CTA, it opens a web page telling me to install HUB!
Does anyone know how I can check for CTA updates without HUB being installed?

Hi...

Updates are normally only done using the Reallusion Hub.

If you can't use the Hub, then you have two choices when new versions are introduced.

One is to download and install the latest full version from your Reallusion Account > Registration page (uninstall the old version first).

Alternatively you can contact Support who should be able to provide you with a downloadable version of the update.

Thanks, Peter. But as I said, it was Support that told me to uninstall the HUB. And I am not sure how I am supposed to know CTA updates are available.

They should be announced on the forum. They are for iClone and Character Creator.
