Add a keyframe in the Flip channel, in the first frame using the direction you want him to start in.  Then when you want him to turn, add another keyframe in the flip channel.

Hi, I have a scene where an actor walks from the side of a scene to the center back, I want him to turn to face the front and then walk towards the front. How do I do this? When I try the actor changes to front view for the whole animation, IE his walk from right to center is with him facing front.
