Can someone please set me straight?
What is the best, most versatile avatar models to use? Should they be CC4 so I can adjust them and shift them back to Iclone8?
What's the difference? Which is best to use?

Can CC4 adult models be adjusted to younger models, like teens? I'm not really interested in the cartoony versions available in the store.
My latest fantasy book uses teen characters and I can't find good models outside of Poser 3d.

Thanks!

The avatars created in CC4 will be the most compatible and probably the best looking when animated. There is a morph slider for making a character an infant and you can get younger-looking/teen characters by just applying the slider part way. Having said that, a great source of well-designed characters, especially teens and different ethnicities, is DAZ3D. I bring them in via CC's Transform tool, then use the morph sliders and SkinGen to modify them further.

As far as looks go, I noticed that the DAZ characters brought in through 3dXchange hold a lot more detail than the ones brought in via CC4. It's actually a very noticeable difference to me, particularly the skin, unless I'm just not importing properly through CC4.
