I knew I had seen this somewhere. Just found it while looking around.

Open IClone 8, click on Content, select Project 1:



Then select Curve Animation:



I was able to export the demo scene to Omniverse, so you could also export just the character.

To use the character in iClone, after loading the project, select the character and save it in your custom content.

A note to those wishing to save the character to their custom folder.

In the Demo Project the character has a Camera and a Light attached to it, make sure to delete both from the character before saving it. there is no need to resave the Demo Project with these items removed.

I'm curious as to how you would save out the character. I did it by sending it from iClone to CC4. Is there a more direct way to do it within iClone? 

Save it in your Custom folder.
In the Content Manager select Custom > Character, as shown below and then click on "Save" to add the character. You can create a separate folder depending on your needs.


Give the character a name before saving.
