The Leap Motion plugin for Motion Live doesn't connect to my Leap under iClone 8. It worked previously under 7.  Is there an update coming, or is a new version using the new Gemini drivers coming?  Without this or the Hand Gesture Puppeteering plugin, animating hands is a much slower process.

I had problems installing Leap controller both in iClone 7 and iClone 8. So I contacted Dan Kirby at Ultraleap. He told me Reallusion hadn’t updated iClone for the new drivers. He gave me links for older drivers. My iClone 8 can now use Leap controller with version 3. Here’s what he said:

“IClone 7 has not yet been updated to be compatible with Gemini V5 and will work with either the V3 or V4 versions of our hand tracking software. I have included links to these downloads below:

I did, but it took an uninstall of everything Leap on my system and then reinstalling 4 again.  For the longest time I could see my fingers moving in the visualizer, but Leap didn't have the green icon in my toolbar and iClone would not see it at all.

Now all we need is Reallusion to add some smoothing options to the motion in iClone.  The forearem and wrist motion seems to go crazy in iClone.

Has anyone found a definitive answer to installing the Leap Controller and MotionLive plugin in iC8?
I've tried everything I can find here but still no success.
