My eyesight is not as it was.
I wear reading specs at my desktop monitor.
I`m struggling with IC8 which is on the same machine as IC7.

I have gone into Preferences and selected Enlarged Font and UI size.
I have also selected largest Icon and font size..
Then closed and restarted IC8 as per instructions.

Below is a screen shot of what I`m getting.
The modify panel on the right is in an acceptable font size but the Template listing on the left  has a much smaller font.
Why the difference?
Any solutions?

Thanks in anticipation.
Geoff.

I agree that they should be the same.

However, something else you can try, which works for me on a 4k monitor, is to change DPI settings.

Assuming you have an icon to launch iClone 8 on your desktop, you do the following.
  1. Right-click the icon and select Properties.
  2. In Properties, select the Compatibility tab.
  3. Click "Change high DPI settings". A popup dialog will open.
  4. Under the "High DPI scaling override", mark the checkbox.
  5. From the dropdown under the checkbox, select "System (Enhanced)".
  6. Click OK twice the close the two dialogs.

Thank you very much Job for your detailed response.

I don`t have a 4k monitor at present. (May be when my bank balance has recovered from the shock of the IC8 +CC4 upgrade price !)
I gave your very clear instructions a try and report that there is still a difference in on screen font sizes but very pleased the smaller one is now easier for me to read.

Thanks again for your help.
My eyes certainly appreciate it :D

Geoff.

Thanks, animagic,

I have a laptop with a 2560 x 1600 display. I finally have a workable resolution for iClone and CC4.
