I am astounded by the total lack of a simple way, manner, tool, whatever, to help give the impression of breathing. Breathing is fundamental in giving convincing life to a dormant avatar and should be up there with blinking as something that was there from day one. For us to make something breathe we have to make a copy with altered sliders, link to the original etc and as yet I have still not got this to work 100%. It is something RL should be doing - if the idea is to make animation easy and fast then help us out on the very basics. I am sure an automatically generated clone of a project that appears as just sliders (a copy of the avatar is not needed) - similar to the end result of the current method - is not only perfectly feasible but easy to expand on so that there are default settings for take in, exhale, pant, sigh etc that can be dropped onto a dedicated track on the Timeline. This feature, or some method of adding breathing quickly, is long overdue and as the avatars become even more realistic it is essential that this is looked into very seriously.

totaly agree, same thing with the spring animations, more could be added. placing of bones or just adding and changing different types of bones with functions would make everything that much better.

100%. It's really odd that this feature isn't there.
