In one of the videos prior to launch I believe I saw where the character in iClone can be moved and animated using an XBox controller for walking. Is this something I'm not seeing or will this be an addition later on?

For me iClone 8 is also new, but after plugging in my PS5 controller to my PC, the MD control center (CTRL+F5) worked right away after pressing 'Start'.
I can assume this should work the same way for an Xbox controller.

PS You have to press the 'record' button first in the active character for the actual...well...recording.

hey,  is it much easier to move the characters with the Controller than mouse/keyboard combo??    also would any remote controller will work from  PS5 or XBOX??   Im not a gamer but I am assuming the controller for the latest XBOX would work just like the PS5??

I'm not a gamer either but I found it much easier to use the game controller than the keyboard.

PS4/5 controllers and any of the XBOX controllers should work, although you'll obviously need Bluetooth to use a wireless one. I personally just grabbed a second hand XBOX One controller  from my local games store so I can leave it permanently on my desk. For what it's worth (and I only played with it for a minute or two) it looks like the game controller also can be used to rotate and move objects when you're not in Motion Director mode - left trigger zooms in, right trigger zooms out, joystick raises and lowers the object, etc.  It controls the camera if no object is selected.

Awesome thank you so much Jeffkirkland!    I am having a hard time to move the characters with the keyboard/mouse the way i want to, especially when you try to move the character diagonally
