Body Motion Control

- Motion Editing Innovations - work with a reference MPEG4 video to make precise alignments through a powerful mashup system that can help you mix and match poses.
- Optimal HIK Control - use advanced HumanIK control to deeply delve into detailed performances, along with the End Effector and Handkey Motion tools for absolute pinning precision.
- Pro-level Curve Editing - Fix issues such as foot sliding, or walking mocap corrections. You can even apply motion curves to enhance mocaps into stylized and cartoon-like performances.

Motion Director Game-like control over your animations are no longer a dream, thanks to iClone’s Play-to-Animate feature. Already included in iClone 8, this feature enables you to smoothly pilot your 3D characters with game controllers such as xBox or PS and apply custom hotkey motion triggers and dynamic cameras to direct scenes in real-time. Either mouse click waypoints to direct movements or leave it to our AI, which controls autonomous behaviors for you.
- Game-like Actors Control - Characters driven by Motion Director can be controlled with the mouse, keyboard hotkeys, or gamepads.
- NPC AI Animation - designate a motion path or zone for your characters to move or make your characters to automatically follow a character or a prop.
- Macro Recorder - With this feature characters that are activated will have their control sequence recorded and Macro Replay strings together several history macro segments no matter where you place your actor.
- Camera Switch - Control the motions with one hand and switch the Full Shot, Close-Up and Birds Eye camera views with the other hand by simply assigning hotkeys for each camera during runtime

Device Live Intuitively engage directing and editing with Live Switching, Trigger Effects, Slider fader, Jog Dial timeline scrubbing, Drone camera navigation, and so much more. Almost all functions in iClone can map to custom hotkeys for assigning devices (including Windows compatible devices) that interact as physical interfaces for ultimate scene control.
- Camera Switch & Navigation- Enables you to navigate 3D scenes with steady camera control and record the camera movement path to a chosen camera track, switch cameras & dorecording and lens adjustment
- Motion & Timeline Editing - Pan, zoom, and fast scroll through timeline when seeking frames with custom hotkey triggers - set key, break, loop, speed, etc.

Real-time Visuals
 iClone is dedicated to strengthening the real-time visual quality of rendering. Utilizing PBR (Physically-based Rendering) dynamic material content and VXGI Global Illumination that turns normal 3D scenes into photo-realistic worlds through Image-based Lighting. iClone 8 provides Lens Flares, Mirror Plane Shader and Motion Blur to simulate the look of how the real world is processed through human eyes and camera lenses.
- Lens Flares- a type of lens artifact that occurs when light reflects off the surfaces inside the camera producing the effect that immediately gives iClone rendering an optical and cinematic footage feeling.
- Mirror Plane - Simulates realistic reflective surfaces that can be applied to mirrors, televisions, floors or windows that you can define the mirror shape by Opacity texture, and adjust the strength and clarity of the mirror reflection with Material Settings.
- Digital Human Shader - Enables you to create believably true-to-life digital humans and quickly change skin color by adjusting the color of blend maps.
