I think i did read somewhere that all Python  Plugins will need un update from the author eventually to work.
These if done by Reallusion hopefully will be updated.

I am also waiting for some third party plugins to get update

I have a lot of Python Plugins and haven't been able to get one of them to work so far in ICL 8.. Until there is a fix or update I still have ICL 7 installed, so I guess I will have to use it for that..

To get things moving, it might be an idea to contact the authors directly. Contact information is provided on the product page of the plugins.

RL could also help here in gently "dinging" the authors and also set a good example by updating the plugins they published themselves.
