Weird poly count import issue (I'm new)

Selecting multiple patterns in MD (or CLO) does not give you a sum of face count as one would expect (only one random pattern is picked in properties).
Plus if you export with Thick option it would double the face count for exported garment. Always export Thin and Weld.

Judging by the CC screenshot, the poly-count is right, given dense mesh overall and extreme at the cuffs, collar and bottom.

Hi

I'm incredibly new to 3D design and I'm having a slight issue with poly count while importing.
I am trying to import a simple crop top I made in CLO3D/Marvelous Designer but upon import CC3 is telling me the garment is 1,100,000 poly count?

On the attached screen shot of my garment in CLO3D, you will notice the poly count for the front piece is 15,000. The total for the whole garment is roughly 45,000(I'm having trouble getting the total count in 1 screen shot).
You will also notice the selected triangle count in CC3 is 1,100,000.

Am I misunderstanding poly counts? or is something strange happening here?

Any advice is greatly appreciated, I feel helpless at the moment.
