Have now wasted hours trying to get iClone to work as one would expect. That is, in a consistent manner.
- Using the Edit Motion Layer, recording movement for a character will work one moment only to not work the next.
The instructions, as per Reallusion, are simple enough. Much simpler than one would/could figure out on one's own. What gives?

- Editing a non-human figure (Like the horse) with animations keeps me from being able to save it my Custom MotionPlus folder. Or is that merely a shortcoming of the program. Not being able to go far enough with non-human figures?

'and there are others I've forgotten about now. Writing the above after awakening today with the hopes of finally getting things to work as they should after spending (wasting) hours last night.

In order to save a custom motion, you have to collect clip. Hold and left click your mouse at beginning of collect clip. Then drag your mouse
to end of multiple clips. The blue bar are the motions you collected. Right click on blue bar to save all the motions. For non human characters, it looks
like the only option is to save in your custom motions folder.
When using the edit motion layer, you can collect clip, and save in your custom motion folder. You could be overwriting your previous motion.
Collect clip and save motion, then record. That way you can use that motion for any human character. I thank God for helping me.
I think the horse is from iClone 4 and 3.2.  I don't think Reallision has updated the horse or animals since then. Other people might be selling
newer iClone versions of a horse, but Reallusion has stopped making animals for iClone. When you look at the Marketplace for horses, and author
Reallusion, it ends at iClone 4. They have a walking horse motion from iClone 5.2. You have to do research in the Marketplace to see which animals are from newer versions of iClone.
