I have 3DXchange 7.81 PRO

I usually get a lot of my props from Google 3D Warehouse. There is even a direct link in 3DXchange to Google 3D Warehouse.
Problem is, it will only import skp files in 2015 format or earlier.

3D Warehouse only offers downloads as early as 2019 skp format.
I used to get around that by loading the props into Sketchup first and then converting the props back to an earlier version.
But now Sketchup won't save the file anything earlier than 2019 either.

So in a nutshell, I can no longer use the Google 3D Warehouse.
Is there a reason why RL hasn't updated 3DXchange with the ability to import current SKP files ? Or am I missing something?
It's really going to restrict where I can source my props now......
