So I found these 3d ships and pinnace models and I purchased them. The company that sold that package to me converted those files for Adobe Stager. The boats and ores open up fine now in stager. I am now ready to import all of my Dutch sailor characters in the boat... then export as PNG to import into the Photoshop document for the book cover design. Can anyone explain or help me understand how to export each character from cc3 and make it compatible, or importable, into Adobe Stager?

I can export a CC3 character as an FBX file, but when I import it into Adobe Stager, they are back in the T-Pose and lots of the details are missing. Plus hair sticks out from a hat if they have a hat on. How do I fix these issues?

I have never used Adobe Stager.
Maybe the Substance painter program can be used as a bridge.

When I export to Adobe Painter, the character is all white, and I must manually apply all textures and layers again.... and even after I did all of that... the quality and details are about half as good as they are in CC3. I might need to just 2D vector the boat and slap all the characters behind it in layer to make them look like they are in the boat..... Then I must clone stamp ocean water below the boat do you cant see the feet of the sailors who are sitting down rowing....

I see that Stager supports the USD format. You can try exporting as USD from CC. It would maintain the pose and give you the texturing. It's far more evolved than FBX.

USD even allows exporting complete iClone scenes. This is for using in Omniverse, but as USD is a standardized format, so it should work in Substance Stager.

Thank you so much for that advice. I am going to try that tonight when I get home from the farm. Wait.... it says I need the Ominverse thing to export a USD. Does that mean I need to pay another few hundred bucks just to export a particular file? Another question is..... Can I export the whole scene from Stager as a PNG, similar to how you do in CC3, and import it into Photoshop Doc?

Update: So I finally got Omiverse downloaded and installed the connector for CC3. Now comes the problem when I exported the USD from CC3. There are a few options, but not many so I spent 5 of my 15 free exports on trying to figure out the correct way to export the character so it imports into Adobe Stager with all colors and textures.....................but it doesnt work. The best I could do is get it to discard hidden layers, but the character is still pure white. No colors or textures at all. I have taken a screen shot. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

No, Omniverse is free. After you become a member, install the omniverse program. Then install the Character Creator plugin from its own HUB.

Yes, I got it to work, but when I import character into Adobe Stager, they are still all white. See the image below. Is there still something I am doing wrong?

I can't comment because I don't have Adobe Strager program, but many people are not satisfied with Adobe Strager.
Adobe Stranger is more of a starter program. It is not a professional program.
Frankly, I can recommend you to use iClone or Unreal engine instead.
After all, you are likely to experience these problems every time.

Can IClone be a stager too? Meaning you can import multiple 3d items liked a Pinnace and 7 different characters... and export them all together as a scene PNG?

Yes, you can do these and much more with iClone. (It's paid), you can also do it with the Unreal Engine, which is free.
However, as far as I can see strager remotely is a somewhat simple program.
So for other programs you will need to learn a little more.
As a learning line, iClone is a little easier.
You may need to spend a little more time learning the Unreal Engine.
But if you plan to deal with these things all the time, it would be better to start somewhere.
Strager is a complete waste of time.
You can check out the videos of the programs I mentioned.
