Hello,

I intended to purchase and use Cartoon Animator for my project. I downloaded the latest Cartoon Animator 4 the trial version.
However the performance is extremely slow on both Mac and Windows, even though both computer hardwares are above the recommendation.

Does anyone have the same problem with me? Thank you!

Hi...

Unfortunately the graphics card in your Mac is a little on the weak side with only 2GB of video ram. This is probably causing the low performance.

To try and improve things, open Preferences (CTRL+P), click Render, and lower your "Max Real-time Map Size" and "Real-time Vector Render Quality" settings. You can also lower the "Maximum Image Import Size" to avoid using too higher a resolution images which will also impact performance.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your response. The issue happened when I set all options at the lowest setting.

However, I found a way to resolve this by resizing the window to a smaller size. It actually helps to speed up significantly.

Cheers,
Trieu

Thanks for letting us know your workaround. This should help other Mac users encountering the same problem. Smile
