Hey guys, I've been trying to import a Genesis8 Character from Daz3D to CC3 but no matter what I try it doesn't seem to work. Here is a list of what I have tried:

-Exporting with clothes, without clothes
-Exporting with morphs, without morphs
-Baking textures into FBX and also not baking textures into FBX
-Exporting a template Genesis8 Character
-Putting character into T-Pose and A-Pose before exporting
-Ensuring all parts of the model are visible (no hidden mesh issues in model)
-Importing the model into 3DXChange and exporting to FBX from 3DXC

None of the above options worked. Does anyone have anything else I can try? I have searched every tutorial I can find along with forum posts and documentation, I am stuck here. Any help appreciated, thank you.

It would help to know what model you are trying, as well as your export settings from Daz.

If you have the page of the Daz model to post I can most likely show you exactly how to do it.  In the meantime you might try one of my tutorials:

Well, ignoring the model I was trying to use, the default Genesis 8 template doesn't work. Let's try to get that working first.
Do you not experience this problem? If not I can send a video of exactly what happens.

You mean you put a standard Gen 8 figure into Daz, export it, and then cannot import it using Transformer?

If so and if you are following my instructions as to export settings then, yes, let me see a video.

Daz Genesis 8 characters are working fine for me using Transformer in CC3.

Are you sure it isn't an Genesis 8.1 character you are using? These will give that error message as they are not currently supported by Transformer.

There is a workaround that may help you.
