I have several animation packs for CC3, but applying them to a char only displayes the initial pose, and there doesnt seem to be a timepline to actually play the animation. Iclone doesnt seem to have access to the animations in the smart library, so how do i actually use these animations ive purchased??? I literally canot find anything about this online.

Iclone is where all the animations take place. Look at photo where motions are in iClone. CC3 only uses poses. You can create new poses in iClone.

As Michael has already explained, you can't preview animations in CC3. You will need to use iClone or if you export to other 3rd party software like Unreal you can play the full animations there. However, in CC4 which is coming in the Spring you will be able to preview animations directly within CC4 itself.

Right click on the motion that you want to use, click "Find File", and the folder will open. From there, just drag each motion on the character in iClone. That's the way I do it.

All you have to do is highlight your character and double click the motion you want. Or highlight your character and drag the motion on to your character. You don't have to find file.
