Hey everyone! I successfully imported 10 characters into UE4.27 about 2 weeks ago, everything was great. Now I am trying to import some more though and every new character I import has materials that are grainy, semi-translucent, and just all together wrong. Attached is an image of what I am referencing. I have gone through the import tutorials a few times to ensure that my import settings are the same as what is in there. I have reinstalled the CC plugin. Has anyone had this issue or even better yet been able to resolve it? Please let me know if you have any ideas. First image is what the materials look like, second image is my import settings. 76% of original size (was 666x19) - Click to enlarge 76% of original size (was 666x19) - Click to enlarge

Hi... If it was working fine and now not, it may be down to changes you made to your Unreal project. It will be worth starting a new Unreal project and then follow the tutorials below to see if the issue remains. https://courses.reallusion.com/home/actorcore/unreal

Solved it. The parent material was getting set to Masked on import somehow. Just set it back to Opaque
