Hello! I'm exporting from Character Creator v3.44 to mixamo.com, but it doesn't work. Character upload works fine, but when I want to use their animation, it loads endlessly and doesn't load. I tried many different export settings in Character Creator, but without success. I also tried the Mixamo Fuse program and everything works flawlessly with it. However, I would like to use Character Creator because I find it better and has more options. Please help!

have you tried downloading the fbx or bvh from mixamo and retargetting it in another software like blender ? it works fine for me coming into iclone through 3Dxchange - chances are the mixamo app isn't recognizing the CC bone name convention, the CC rig itself i believe is maya based which is a standard so that wouldn't be the issue, but how CC names the bones may not be standard and may affect how some auto-riggers react, that could be the case with mixamo. The solution would be to take the motion and rig to another software to manually retarget it.

you dont need to convert cc to mixamo to do this

normally what i would do is import the converted motion files to iclone, then export either from there or from 3DXchange, not sure how that works with cc3 being that cc3 has no animation. you would be able to, in theory, at least get a pose from the motions in cc3, whether it exports the whole motion after that pose - i don't know. I don't use unreal so i don't use that approach.

ue4's native format is fbx, so you only need to retarget animations in ue4.

You can actually export animations from CC, it is part of the export dialog. No need to bother with 3DXchange.
