I have a couple of things to prove with this post.

The first point is that CC is more than adequate to make ANY sort of person you desire if you take the time to learn some anatomy and become familiar with the sliders. I rather like CC, and I think people should show  various trolls and whiners what is possible.  All of the following images were created using only sliders, in CC itself.  I didn't cheat by exporting to Blender and sculpting there or by using images in Headshot. I did use Headshot sliders, Ultimate sliders and Dawn sliders.

To show everything clearly, all images are done with default lighting.  All characters will be female and about 20. This is about what can be done with morphs, so the faces will be neutral and the pose and age will be kept the same.  Aging, Skin Gen techniques and males are for other posts.

All avatars began with the default CC3+ avatar. Let's post her for a reference.

First, let's do a lady of African descent.  She is the only one I am showing with the full IRAY and Skin Gen treatment.  I chose her to do the full treatment to point out that it is quite possible to make realistic dark skin. The others will be less detailed to fully show what just sliders can do.

CC sliders are sensitive enough to not only make Asian women, but different ethnicities of Asians.  While people are always very variable, one can say without predjudice that there is a certain Japanese look that is different from say Han Chinese. Note:  Different does NOT mean worse or better.  Different means different in that different ethnic groups tend to different facial structures.

I'll post a classically Japanese woman this time.  Previously, I had posted a Chinese woman. I made them both as base meshes to be used when I wanted to make such a character. I used Skin Gen in this case, but only as a base skin type, with no particular detail, to be altered later as needed.

Here's the same Japanese avatar with the default skin.

Now for a woman from the Mediterranean Coast. I made her to use for a base mesh should I want to make such a character. You can meet someone who looks like her anywhere from Spain to the Middle East and North Africa.  With a few tweeks, she could be further specialized.  For instance, mixing in some Sub-Saharran Features would make her look more Egyptian, while changing the nose and cheekbones a little one way would make her look more Greek and another way, more Italian. If you were to mix in some slight Asian features, she would look Persian (because Mongols).  This is the default skin with no particular extra work save giving it a more olive complexion, without opening skingen.

Finally, let's do North Western European.  Imagine my surprise when I was told she looked just like a base CC3+ avatar.  The only simlarity is that they are both female and of European descent.  Also, thtis is her with default skin and eyes.

To quickly show again what can be done with Skin Gen and Iray, here's the same charater as above in a full artistic render with 4k skin that was partially hand painted...

Why did I go to all of this effort? Several reasons.

1.  There are some commenters here who seem to be on a mission to put down CC at any given chance.  It's nonsense and if they love DAZ so much, they should post there and not here.

2.  There are some commentors who are convinced that it is impossible to make different sorts of faces using CC.  Others seem to think it is only possible using photos from Headshot. I want to prove that this is not so, and I respectfully submit, that relying on Headshot too much, not only becomes a crutch, but a hinderence. Please don't get me wrong. It's a great tool, but it's like graphng calculators.  There was a time when students had to develop a sense of what a function looked like using just their brain.  Trust me, people who can do that can then go on to do real math. The ones who can't, can't.  If you get proficient with the sliders, you can make anyone from your own imagination and you will be that much better with using Headshot.

3.  The complaint about different sorts of faces, on one of my earlier posts, at least according to some, was that CC3 only produces "white girls."  After reading some of the more ascerbic posts on my thread and others, it became apparant that this person thought all white people looked the same. Obviously, they really don't, any more than anyone else. Crap like that is not only racism, but blindness.  I'm here for the art.  You get better at art by seeing forms clearly.

I'll also note that I'm from a group that white supremacists hate. That shouldn't make any difference, but in this envornment, it may to some. My point is that I don't have some reactionary urge to only defend people of European ancestry. I'm saying that all racist crap is crap

I wish there was a way to block certain people.  If I find it, I'll use it.

I believe you can make any character and race from CC3. Here is my entry from the Digital Human Contest last year. It was an African Female named
Anika, young and old. I don't have headshot. I think using headshot is cheating.  I made another female, using a combination of  Katherine (25), Jody (25),
and CC3 Base Female (50). If you take a little bit of 3 or 4 characters from the CC3 characters, you will get a variety of different human ethnicities. CC1
has plenty of different faces to choose from. If you want to give a male character (5) of a female face, you are just giving that character some of his mother's
features. All people have some features from their mother and father. CC3 is great.https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/5fa90c50-47cb-4b09-929d-3548.png

You are of course right that you can make many different combinations with base head morphs, but you can go a lot further than just mixing base sliders.  Each of the images I posted had dozens tweaks from almost every category.  This is before we apply Skin Gen, do make-up or other added features, bake 4k textures or do hair and outfits.

For example, here is a new render of a woman, who in my novel, is of mostly Latin, and a little Asian ancestry.  To make this, I had to work a little on her skin textures in GIMP.

As a physicist, I am very pleased that CC's render engine can handle the reflections and refractions of the gem I made in Blender.
