many things can cause this but I suspect one in particular.
as a new user, you probably installed a demo first, liked the software then purchased and installed a full version.
chances are you've got registry entries that are conflicting between the 2 different softwares, and simply uninstalling wont fix it because the regular uninstall always leaves behind remnants of an old install - so every fresh install comes with old problems.
I'd try first uninstalling any demos and the product you have of purchased items if you haven't already - then I'd give you a disclaimer about using the next software I'm going to suggest to clean your registry, because while I've never heard anyone have an issue with it, that doesn't mean it can't happen - especially if for some reason your system is suffering some other issues such as malware or failing drive - I don't know, so use at your own risk... -
https://www.ccleaner.com/ should you decide to risk it, the free version is enough to do this, use the clean registry feature to remove any unnecessary registry entries - make sure you create a restore point - clean your drive while you are there too - and keep running both options till it's clean - sometimes you have to run registry cleaner a few times to get the gunk out.
if you don't want this path, then you may have to contact support directly via mesage / email for them to give you official instructions on how to clean your registry.
if you do try this, and still have issues - post again.
Good luck, I hope this helps.
